Quicken 2018 deluxe for mac 2 yr

I wasted about an hour trying to do what should have taken less than five minutes. I was able to find enough info through Google to solve my problem. I found 'Help' to be VERY un-helpful! I wanted to enter or update recurring transactions. The subscription plan, instead of one-time purchase price which got you the product 'forever.' I'm not sure if the program quits working at the end of the subscription or only prevents one from downloading info.
